we all have sizeable scars.

But, it’s one of those days.

I just want to take a minute to remind everyone who gets in a motor vehicle to put on your seatbelts and don’t do anything to distract the driver, or other drivers on the road. That’s not what happened to my friend but it still needs to be said. If you’re the driver, pay attention to where you’re going and what you’re doing. When it comes to a matter of life or death - was it really worth it to check your Twitter while speeding down the highway? Was it worth it to text that friend back IMMEDIATELY? Did you really have to find “the perfect driving song” while changing lanes? You can’t wait til you come to a stop to apply your make-up? All those things are so fucking stupid in comparison to life or death.

So when you’re in a vehicle whether it be as a driver or passenger - pay attention and help save lives.

 When I was in my junior year of highschool, a girl that I had known since I was 12 years old died in an accident. She sat in front of me in Spanish class that year and after I talked to her in class one day, I woke up to “RIP Janee” all over myspace. One of her friends was reading/sending a text on the highway and lost control of the car. The car was pretty much split in half. Two other people that I had known for the same amount of time were also in the accident. One was severly injured and spent a long time in the hospital, one was uninjured but had no memory of the accident. I tell everybody this when they’re doing something stupid in the car and I don’t care how uncomfortable it makes them.

you gotta love people who back out at pretty much the last possible minute. party of three just became two.
